Android Version 8.0 Oreo

Introduction:

Android version 8.0 Oreo was released in 2017. It is a successor of android 7.1 nougat because android 7.1 nougat has some limitations and lack of features that’s why google released android 8.0 oreo in 2017. [2]

Features:

·       It has a Picture in Picture mode facility [2]

·       It is a first android version that has a feature of “Project Treble” So by this feature device makers can easily provide timely software updates. [2]

·       Password Autofill (Some sites requires login so this feature automatically fill password field if you save password in your browser) [14]

·       Snooze Notifications (You can stop notifications of some specific apps for specific time i.e 1 hour) [14]

 

 

Android Version 9.0 Pie

Introduction:

Android version 9.0 pie was released in August 2018. This OS is much better in power and screen brightness management. [2]

Features:

·       New Gesture Navigation (You can change the position of home, menu and back button also can change it’s functions) [15]

·       Adaptive Battery And Brightness (It will automatically close background running apps that are not in use and also adjust screen brightness according to the environment) [15]

·       Improved Security Features (It will only gives permission to apps i.e microphone permission when you actively using specific app) [15]

·       Volume And Sound Improvements (In android pie when we click on volume rockers the slider will appear on the right side instead of top) [15]

Introduction:

Android version 10 was released in September 2019. This OS is completely swipe-driven approach to system navigation. Android 10 Q has a single click dark theme option. [2]

·       Dark Theme (You can on dark theme for entire system that will help to reduce battery consumption and also good for your eyes) [16]

Android version 11 launched in the start of September 2020.
